Yacht Week starts in October every year. The point of departure is Portoferraio on Elba, where KH+P yachtcharter was one of the first pioneers of yacht chartering in Italy, beginning charter operations in 1977. As an active watersports exhibition, INTERBOOT has been offering a popular fun regatta at the end of the Mediterranean season since 1993 – the “Elba Week”.
With water temperatures of 20°C, the Mediterranean can still be very inviting in October. So delaying the onset of winter with a sailing trip in the south seems like the obvious choice! It gives you an opportunity to get to know one of the most diverse and beautiful sailing areas in the Western Mediterranean during an exciting Yacht Week.
Event description
With up to 30 yachts, Yacht Week has become one of the most successful events for the cruising community in recent years. The sailing region is the Tuscan archipelago between Elba, Corsica, Sardinia and the Italian Riviera. The distances provide interesting sailing routes, as well as enough free time for individual activities. The one-week trip is the perfect introduction to a diverse, attractive Mediterranean sailing region with expert guidance.
Dates 2023: 14 - 21 October | 31th INTERBOOT Mediterranean Yacht Week
The Tuscan archipelago with its seven islands of Capraia, Elba, Gianutri, Giglio, Gorgona, Montecristo and Pianosa is Europe’s largest marine park with 60,000 hectares of protected ocean. The area has a mild climate, with pleasant temperatures from spring through late autumn. It is one of the most beautiful and diverse sailing regions in the Western Mediterranean.
